Your real e-mail is your actual e-mail address, while your Public e-mail is what is shown in your user profile. Admin notices are messages about the site (hardly sent out), while phone notices are sent out whenever someone flags or edits a phone you have adopted. YAPL will never give your address to anybody, Technically, you don't even need to give a real one. We just like it that way.
